Maternity Style: Fall Edition

It's official - the days are getting shorter and the weather is getting cooler! That can only mean one thing: fall is upon us and winter won't follow too far behind. If you are newly pregnant (or even very pregnant) this season, you might be wondering how to dress your bump without breaking the bank.

While living in cozy over-sized sweaters and leggings over the next months might seem really tempting (we're right there with you!), we thought we could offer a few tips on how to dress your growing bump for Fall - in a way that is both affordable and chic!

#1 - That $125 maternity blazer? Don't bother! Wearing long vests, cardigans, open shirts and blazers over your basic maternity long sleeves, tanks and t-shirts is an easy and simple way to utilize your pre-pregnancy pieces! We love the basic Isabella Oliver ruched scoop tops for this reason: they're comfy, stretchy, affordable and looked great layered with other pieces. And even better: they can be worn post-pregnancy too!

#2 - Pairing your basic maternity t-shirts and dresses with bold accessories (think chunky necklaces and patterned scarves) will help you feel more put together. We love Isabella Oliver's ruched t-shirt dress and Ripe's cocoon dress for this reason - dress them up or dress them down!

#3 - Wear belts over tops, cardigans and dresses to accentuate your bump and give you a bit more shape! Maman Chic carries belts in a variety of colors and styles.
